The original London dojo began training in 1999 in Ladbroke Grove. Today, there are dojo's in London, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. 

The AKD is currently affiliated to the British Combat Association which is widely recognized as Britain's foremost Multi-Style organisation, headed by Peter Consterdine (8th Dan) and Geoff Thompson (7th Dan). The World Chief Instructor is Guru Dan Inosanto.

The AKD is a non-political organisation which believes that the talking should be done through the training. The AKD has a family based ethos where each and every member is individually valued. 

The AKD welcomes any sincere individuals to train with us, including students from other disciplines who wish to cross train in our system.
